Seeing everyone's festive Memorial Day celebrations this past weekend really made it feel like summer, and I'm here for it! Summertime always makes me a bit nostalgic as I have so many amazing memories growing up - spending long days at the pool, going to summer camp, and making memories with my friends and family.
Summers look a bit different as an *adult*, but I still hope to keep that wholesome, optimistic outlook despite the fact that I no longer have a few carefree months to play.
Since moving to Florida, I've felt some of that childlike attitude return as we start this adventure. It's been so fun to explore a new place and romanticize the small daily activities that are so easy to take for granted.
With that said, I am also someone who can easily get caught up in daily to-dos, productivity, and routine, and thus it's a goal of mine to be more carefree and present this season.
A few goals and intentions of my own for June include:
- Tap into an abundance > mindset
- Romanticize daily tasks and experiences
- Say YES more often and embrace opportunities
- Make mental wellness/stress management a top priority
